Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT)
We provide full sponsorship for life-saving bone marrow transplants for underprivileged children and adults battling Leukemia, Thalassemia, and other blood cancers—giving them a real chance at cure and long-term survival. Average Cost per patient is PKR 3.5 – 7 Million
CARE – Comprehensive Assistance for Regular Transfusions
Provides annual support for transfusions and essential medical care for Thalassemia and Hemophilia patients, helping them maintain stability, manage symptoms, and live healthier lives. Average cost per patient for a year is PKR 180,000
LIFE – Lifesaving Initiative for Early Screening
Covers the cost of advanced diagnostic tests such as HLA typing and genetic profiling, enabling early detection, informed treatment decisions, and timely access to care. Average Cost per patient is estimated to be around PKR 182,000 – 204,000

At just nine years old, Maheen Tariq was diagnosed with life-threatening Aplastic Anemia. Her only hope was a bone marrow transplant, far beyond what her family, living in a small two-room home, could afford. NIBD Welfare Society stepped forward to fully support her treatment and recovery, ensuring compassionate care every step of the way. At only four years old, Mohammad Hassan was battling Beta Thalassemia Major, relying on regular transfusions to survive. His fragile health and the family’s limited living conditions made the future uncertain. NIBD Welfare Society intervened by arranging his bone marrow transplant and supporting the family throughout the process. Today, Hassan is energetic and thriving, his laughter once again filling his home. His journey reflects the life-changing impact of compassion, medical expertise, and community support.

A young boy’s path to recovery made possible through donor generosity and welfare support.
Twelve-year-old Ali Naqi was diagnosed with severe Aplastic Anemia, a condition requiring an urgent bone marrow transplant, treatment his family of eight could not afford. With the help of NIBD Welfare Society, guidance from its Shariah Advisor, and the support of generous donors, Ali’s transplant and post-treatment care were fully funded. Under expert medical supervision, he successfully underwent the procedure and is now regaining his strength. His story stands as a testament to hope, resilience, and the transformative power of community.
